Course Description

In this 3-day comprehensive and hands-on Google Ads (AdWords) Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Display (PPC) certification course, candidates will learn step by step how to develop a Google search and display advertising strategy and create campaigns that will generate leads, sales, and web traffic.

In the Search Advertising track, candidates will learn how to set up Google Ads search advertising campaigns from scratch. This includes setting appropriate daily budgets and keyword bids, doing keyword research, and writing text ads to drive targeted traffic from Google Search.

In the Display Advertising track, candidates will show that they know how to deliver display ads, such as banner, text, and smart ads, on the Google Display Network (Websites, YouTube, Gmail, and Mobile Apps), in a way that helps them reach their marketing goals.

Candidates will learn how to reach new and existing customers using In-Market, Custom Intent, Affinity, and Remarketing audience targeting, how to improve efficiency with automated bidding strategies, and how to improve campaign performance with Google Ads’ Performance Planner.

Candidates will also have to show that they can use Google’s measurement tools, like conversion tracking, to measure and improve the performance of ad campaigns.

This course will prepare candidates to take two 75-minute Google certification exams that will be given to them during the course.

By getting Google Ads certifications, candidates show that they know how to build and optimize Google Ads campaigns and are qualified to work as online advertising professionals.

Anyone who wishes to get the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification who is presently working in or searching for a position in a digital marketing department at a company or agency. Is there anything I need to bring or prepare for attending the course?

Bring a laptop with you to in-person training. You can also borrow a laptop from us for the course duration. You should also bring a jacket in case the room gets cold.

Do I need to meet any other requirements or prerequisites to take this course?

You need to know how to open and close programs, move and drop files, copy and paste text, and other basic computer skills.

If you have never done digital marketing analytics before, you will need to take the WSQ Digital Marketing Analytics course or pass the Google Analytics for Beginners tests before taking this course.

What's the difference between the Google Analytics Individual Qualification study resources, the Digital Marketing Analytics course, and this advanced course?

The basics of Google Analytics are taught in the Digital Marketing Analytics course. At the end of the course, Google Analytics Academy will give you a certificate called “Google Analytics for Beginners.”

The Advanced Digital Marketing Analytics course goes into more detail about more advanced Google Analytics ideas and prepares you for the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ).

This certification is also given out by the Google Analytics Academy, and it shows that you know a lot about Google Analytics.

What's the point of the GAIQ Certification?

Getting the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification shows that you know both basic and advanced concepts about Google Analytics. The certificate is good for one year from the date the test was passed.
